Shipping and Policies Your purchase is a custom order. Our goal is to ship within 2 weeks of your
order date, depending on destination and delivery mode. How are shipping costs determined? Shipping prices were predetermined on the size and weight of your order, therefore a flat rate was designed to cover materials, basic shipping, insurance and handling. How will my fine art print be shipped? We use UPS, US Postal Services and Federal Express. Secured with cardboard, wrapped in large bubble wrap and boxed over sized with Styrofoam your print should arrive to your door intact. Shipping costs are a flat rate and will only be adjusted if Rush delivery or out of the lower 48 United States delivery is requested. Can I have RUSH delivery on my purchase? Rush delivery can be requested at an extra 15% charge on your total order. However, as orders are custom made the order you have placed may not be in stock. In these instances, time will be needed to prepare your order; Rush shipping would take place upon completion of your order. What is your return policy on purchased items? All purchases carry a 15-day from date of purchase exchange on items of same cost on undamaged items, less return shipping. All purchases carry a 7-day from date of receiving "no hassle"return on undamaged items less return shipping costs. Payment and purchase transactions Are payments to your website secure? The paper and process used in the creation of each photograph are of the highest quality using the most current technologies available. No image on this sight has been manipulated digitally. Traditional cameras, digital or film, have been used exclusively in the making of each image. Images chosen as open edition prints are scanned with high resolution scanners to maintain the integrity and quality of the original image. An art form unto itself, scanning from a negative or transparency produces a file that when exposed by laser, masters a photograph that compliments its original image, unparalleled to images created by traditional enlargers and their light sources. The prints offered on this site are exposed on Fuji Crystal Archive Papers and developed by traditional chemical methods. This unique approach of laser exposure and chemical development secures the fine detail and tonal range inherent in the master negative, creating a work that when displayed in proper lighting and temperature conditions can last up to 60 years, a point in time of which even traditional prints can start to fade. Why do you offer only one framing style? Currently we have had the best success offering this museum style framing approach. Its contemporary look and neutral color helps maintain focus on the print and works well in many interiors. As well, we have found that color matching to specific interiors is difficult online, a print only purchase is available and having it framed locally to you is another possibility. We can, however, work on color coordinating mats and frames by special request for commercial and non commercial purchases. How does film format effect image size? All film formats vary in their proportions; EXAMPLE: 35mm is rectangular where medium formats can be square. Paper sizes are standard i.e. 8 x 10, 11 x 14, and so on. If I were to make a 35mm print on an 8 x 10 sheet the image would only be 6 ½ x 10. If I were to make a square medium format print on that same 8 x 10 sheet the largest image I could make would be 8 x 8. If you wanted a 10 x 10 image the next paper size, which is 11 x 14, would be required. Part of a prints cost is based on the standard paper size needed to produce the image size required. Therefore, a 6 ½ x 10 can be the same price as an 8 x 8 because the same paper size is used. Copy Rights Logo, will there be one on my fine art print? The Copyright logo that you see on each image, on the Internet, is there to show that the images are owned by the artist and are not for public use without a license agreement. Many images are used as stock for publication. The fine art print that you purchase will not have this copyright logo on it, your purchase is not an agreement for commercial use. It will be signed in the lower right corner by the artist and numbered if in a limited edition. |
